Kevin.Murphy introduces Repair.Me, a new range featuring three innovative products – Repair-Me.Wash, Repair-Me.Rinse and Re.Store – to strengthen, moisturise, restore and protect hair with naturally derived super food proteins and fruit enzymes.
Repair.Me uses breakthrough skincare research and scientific technology to encapsulate protein within an enzyme, keeping the protein in a lipid state. In this state, the protein is able to nourish and soften hair without weighing it down. Green Pea protein combined with Papaya and Pineapple enzymes moisturise and repair damaged hair. Plant derived essential fatty acids promote healthy hair, while Aloe Leaf Extract and Bamboo Extract provide lubrication and reflective shine.
“My commitment to finding the best in nature and science led me to recent developments in anti-aging skincare and new research on the effects of enzymes that stay in a lipid state. I knew the applications for hair could be powerful,” explains Kevin.Murphy stylist and founder Kevin Murphy. “Traditionally, high protein products leave a residue that makes hair feel brittle and stiff. We combined powerful natural ingredients with new science to encapsulate the protein within an enzyme. This allows the protein to fit into damaged areas of the hair shaft, reconstructing them while leaving hair soft and shiny with no brittle finish.”
“I encounter intensely damaged and dehydrated hair on a daily basis. Harsh environmental factors, chemical damage and heat tools can be difficult to combat,” continues Murphy. “These three products complement each other to provide targeted nourishment.”
Repair-Me.Wash features antioxidants and active enzymes derived from Paw Paw fruit that fight free radical damage, protecting and smoothing hair. Silk Amino Acids in the formula promote hair growth and cellular renewal. Bamboo Leaf Extract restores hair by binding it to the hair shaft, increasing shine and manageability. Repair-Me.Rinse combines lipid, vitamin and antioxidant-rich Acai with the restorative properties of Shea Butter to condition hair while promoting resilience and increasing lustre. Vitamins, minerals, amino acids and enzymes from Aloe Leaf Extract bind moisture to the hair and further smooth its surface.
Using the latest technology in anti-aging skincare, Re.Store is formulated with Papaya and Pineapple enzymes combined with Green Pea protein to bind moisture and improve the hair’s moisture retention. Re.Store rebuilds hair from the inside out, increasing elasticity, moisture and strength for deeply nourished and replenished hair. For best results, use 1-2 times a week in place of wash and rinse. Apply to wet hair and scalp and leave for 2-3 minutes before rinsing out.
“Repair-Me.Wash and Rinse reconstruct chemically damaged, brittle hair by gently polishing the hair and providing a protective sheath for ongoing moisture and strengthening. These should be used together every day except 1-2 times a week when they should both be replaced with Re.Store,” instructs Murphy. “Re.Store uses a no-foam technology to cleanse and treat hair simultaneously in one simple step. The product’s concentrated formula gives hair a shot of pure vegetable protein for healthier looking and feeling hair.”
