Grand Finale! R+Co commands the stage at LBP Front Row

Front Row is a hair show that is here to stay as one of the premiere trade shows in the country, offering a quality and variety in educational content unseen before.

Luxury Brand Partners has outdone itself with fantastic collaborations and educators that filled the stage with glamour and skill while the bleachers quickly filled Mana Convention Center in Wynwood’s Art District. ESTETICA has given you an all access pass for the past two days, and of course, we don’t plan to disappoint on the third!

R+Co is considered one of the fastest growing brand in the industry, and the company, led by industry icon Reuben Carranza, has the talent to back its inevitable success. Three wonderful men known as ‘The Collective’ are guiding the label to success and shared their secrets today on how to gather inspiration from your personal passions in an interesting live interview with Modern Salon’s Maggie Mulhern. R+Co The Collective is made of Garren, “The Godfather of Hair” according to Vogue, and a true industry icon whose editorial work is consistently featured on the covers of leading fashion publications; Howard McLaren, with his vibrant personality, is known for creating and building legendary brands; and Thom Priano is recognized behind the most iconic campaigns and his styling of every “it” guy including Matthew McConaughey and Adam Levine. Each of their shows today derived from their favorites, for example Garren selected some Elizabeth Taylor legendary looks throughout time, but for Priano, it was a wilder take on the iconic Rock & Roll. Enjoy our gallery below for some of the best looks today!

ESTETICA was at LBP Front Row 2016 from the start and witnessed a selection of top stylists ready to share their secrets through workshops, world acclaimed keynote speakers, and parties — both by the pool and behind Miami’s top velvet rope nightclubs!

On #lbpfrontrow day one we saw the elegant industry icons James Pecis, editorial maven, and Vivienne Mackinder, who started off her show with concept of face framing, a tool that should be used by all stylists, because, “emphasizing, disguising, and balancing shapes is part of what we do, in order to create the best silhouette for your client.”

On #lbpfrontrow day two we saw Jim Collins with a lecture turned workshop, turned Q&A session where owners were able to voice their questions. Frank Gambuzza, Intercoiffure America/Canada President, also made an appearance as well as Simon Doonan and David Thurston. At night, Front Row graced us with a live interview on stage with the legendary Beverly Sassoon and Vidal’s daughter Eden, who continues her father’s passion through her foundation Beauty Gives Back. The nightime saw a magnificent presentation by men’s grooming brand V76 led by industry icon Vaughn Acord and Jesse Taylor, and a spectacular show by the mavens of Smith + Cult, founder Dineh Mahaer and brand ambassador Sarah Bland.

If you did not, or can not, get a chance to escape to the hot spicy lands of Miami, then check out the gallery below for some of the creative visuals that surrounded the R+Co show as well as the event!
