Katherine Frank Creative, the well-respected and well-known full-service trade show solutions and creative services firm, has been named finalist in the Best Fabric Exhibit category in EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Portable/Modular Awards.
The creative firm, led by founders Frank and Katherine Cacciato, offers an extensive menu of services focusing on a custom, unique approach for each project and client – whether designing and building a booth or building client relationships. The company begins with conceptual design and continues through exhibit fabrication and show management, offering a turnkey solution for all creative and logistical needs.
Katherine Frank Creative submitted a show-stopping booth designed for Keratin Concepts by Peter Coppola, which debuted at the ULTA General Manager Conference in Chicago in 2015. The theme for the booth was an “Old-Time Speakeasy” that included the booth team dressed in period costumes to add authenticity and excitement. 90% of the audience was female so this was a strategically visually unique way to appeal to and attract attendees.
The booth was designed to mimic a real life experience, allowing attendees to experience a different era in beauty. Katherine Frank Creative created and executed on the theme, yet managed to strike a balance in conveying a modern, innovative brand message to a new audience. KFC executed the vision by utilizing the following elements:
- • Flooring (faux hard wood)
- • Luxurious lounge with plush art-deco seating and a vintage sofa and coffee table
- • Photo Booth and sepia toned photos of the product lines and roaring 20’s themed props
- • Stylized bar constructed from cherry wood
- • Dramatic mood lighting including sconces and a lavish chandelier
- • Red velvet drapes for privacy and décor
- • Ornate vases with lavish oversized feather
“We’re so thrilled that EXHIBITOR Magazine has recognized our hard work with this nomination,” said Frank Cacciato, founder and CEO of Katherine Frank Creative. “This really starts 2016 off with a bang. We had a great time working on this design because it was so unique and the client was very passionate about their vision. When all components came together, we were able to achieve their main goals: brand awareness, innovation and a memorable experience for the attendees.”
EXHIBITOR Magazine announced the finalists online and all finalists are entered into the People’s Choice Award competition, an online public-voting competition.
