Singapore’s BeautyAsia hits 20! Two decades of providing pros with in-depth knowledge

Three days of intense updating, promotion, education and networking. This is what can be expected at Singapore’s BeautyAsia, one of the biggest appointments in the Asian beauty industry calendar each year.

The 2015 event (held last January) for beauty, spa and wellness professionals, registered a 25% increase in the presence of foreign exhibitors, demonstrating the high esteem held for the trade show on an international level. And the event also has a high rate of return exhibitors, who take advantage of the trade show to promote their brands and discover new business opportunities. Visitors and exhibitors arrive from all sectors of the industry – nails, make-up, hair, skincare, perfumery, salon and spa equipment, health products and packaging are just some of the areas of interest that can be found at the stands and during the shows, for all the latest news.

So, what can we expect from BeautyAsia 2016, as the event celebrates its twentieth year? First of all, lots of professional creativity on stage, as the show will host a different competition for each of its three days. Kicking off on 24th February will be the NailsAsia & LashAsia 2016 event. The next day will be the turn of the Singapore Hair Designer Awards 2016 (managed by the Hair & Cosmetology Association Singapore), whilst the third and final day will host the International Semi-Permanent Make Up Competition (for Brows, Eyeliner, Lip Tattoos).

The trade show will cover the three principal beauty sectors, with SpaAsia 2016, HealthAsia 2016 and NaturalAsia 2016. BeautyAsia 2016 is scheduled from 24th to 26th February, once again at the Suntec Singapore Exhibition Centre.
