Education is the main focus of the second annual Beauty and the Barber expo (Sunday, December 6th), which radiated with so much talent and brilliance, it inevitably transformed into staple of the industry!
Such was the splash last year that Christopher Dove and John C. Simpson are joining the game and co-hosting the upcoming tradeshow. This was one of the many celebrity stylists that Beauty Schools of America (BSA) was able to lure to Miami for a Sunday full of knowledge and passion as they continue to recruit more celebrity educators to give their students, and all other who wish to attend the best spectacle in the South.
Everyone is invited to have the experience. BSA wants this event to become a true staple of the industry that people can look forward to every year to get supplies for their salon, for company exposure, or even to sharpen the skills that you can only get in a place like this. “We were trying not to make the stages simultaneous so that people can see more, but we have so many people who have asked if they can to educate that it is something that at this point will inevitably happen,” shares Sandra Marino, BSA Marketing & Web Director.
The one-day beauty and barbering trade event is centered on educational panels with national industry professionals Kristi Faulkner, Omar Antonio, and Danny Amorim. Pacinos the Barber will be also be presenting marketing and branding techniques for the audience, and DL Master Barber is set to share his secrets of efficiency and wits on how to build wealth from “behind the chair.” A more artistic Lena Piccininni will give her course on the ins and outs of blending and fading techniques.
The competition categories are open to industry professionals and students, where they can showcase their talent in: Fashion Editorial Makeup, Avant Garde, FX/Theatrical Character, Artists Choice Creature or Cosplay Special Effects Makeup, and Body Paint. Barber categories include; Fastest Fade, Free Style and Fade with beard.
Estetica USA will be covering the event from start to finish; documenting the hottest trends, looks and tips to grow your business. Stay connected to our inner circle for the tropical celebration of beauty education by Beauty Schools of America, the beauty institution that has dedicated itself to host this prime celebration. The event will end with lights and beats after the awards and honorable mentions are announced, followed by live performances from prominent DJ and radio personality, Alex Sensation, and Reggaeton artist Jay Alvarez.
