Paul Mitcheel bleed black and white, but they live red, white, blue… and in honor of Veterans Day 2015 (because giving is their style), Paul Mitchell teamed up with Makeovers That Matter to kick-off PM’s Color Your Confidence campaign and bring beauty into the lives of very deserving veteran women on Monday, November 9th.
The day began with veteran meet and greets and a beautiful opening speech by PM’s Fearless Leader and Veteran John Paul DeJoria, who told his personal connection to veterans day and gave great advice, as well as lovely words from Michael John Derricott, the founder of Makeovers That Matter. All services and products were donated by Paul Mitchell, Paul Mitchell The School Sherman Oaks, Future Professionals led by Brent Wedin, Orly for amazing nails, and Milani and Ultimate Face cosmetics to complete the package. Paul Mitchell made over 16 veteran women who are looking to get back into the work force – their beauty on the inside was able to shine through as they went through a full day of transformation, education, and beautification.
It was Paul Mitchell’s honor and pleasure to be able to serve those who have served us and they couldn’t have done it without the amazing team they had including but not limited to PMTS Sherman Oaks, Takashi, Adam, Jamie Lew, and Andrea Espinoza who made this day special for an amazing group of women who left feeling like a million bucks.
