Paris Hairpassion – MCB by Beauté Sélection 2015

A record attendance for the MCB by Beauté Sélection 2015! In first place in terms of admissions, but also for the participation of many new companies.

Then numbers are now official: 40.612 visitors during the two-day long event. The objectives that the organization of MCB by Beauté Sélection had set were reached. A significant presence of French and foreign professional was recorded even during the early hours of Sunday. Indeed, the effect of the World Championship certainly contributed considerably to this new boost in the fair.

Concerning exhibitors, more than 250 international brands made it possible for visitors to discover all the innovations in the sector: Eugene Perma with their stand, Revlon Professional Brands was present with the American Crew brand, Schwarzkopf Professional with new important innovations, L’Oréal Professionnel and their Salon Emotion concept, and Wella Professionals, who welcomed the Biguine brand as a new partner company. There was also a notable presence on the tools manufacturer panorama with Corioliss, Babyliss Pro and ghd, but also in franchising with Jean Claude Aubry, Lothmann Paris, and the Vog group, which positioned an enormous touch-screen at the centre of its stand so visitors could easily discover the group’s new offers. Innovation, development strategy, and personalized support: each visitor was able to find the answers to his or her own questions. The event was also an opportunity to enjoy the many spectacular shows offered on the main stage of MCB, together with collateral events organized in partnership wtih EsteticaDesign “What’s Up in Paris”.

The highlights of the programme were the shows with Saco, Vitality’s, L’Oréal Professionnel, and the acclaimed Gérard and L’Oréal Professionnel, who brought extreme styling creations to the stage. The Schwarzkopf Professional show featured three young talents who made both women’s and men’s proposals oriented toward to new grey trend. Other equally successful shows were staged by Sandrine Ruiz and Beat Bourillon for Eugene Perma Professional and, naturally, Christophe Nicolas Biot, who conquered the public with their XXL dolls. The show concluded with a 10-minute standing ovation. Redken, Raphael Perrier, Keune, Celiante and R System also offered enticing moments of creativity-

Another ace up the sleeve of this gathering was the OMC Europe Cup with candidates from all over the world competing during the two-day-long event. The winners were announced by Salvatore Fodera, World President of the OMC, on stage with medals and diplomas.

For Christophe Gabreau, CEO of Standing, organizer of MCB By Beauté Sélection, it was also an opportunity to announce the official agreement for the upcoming European and World Championships that will take place in Paris in 2017 and 2020. “We are honored to host such a prestigious competition. This exclusive agreement with OMC will allow Paris to shine worldwide and MCB By Beauté Sélection to maintain an excellent level of quality. It represents a truly positive boost for the entire hairdressing sector.”
