Aveda‘s Global Artistic Director for Hair Styling, Allen Ruiz focused on an arresting hair texture that put each model in the spotlight for Public School SS2016 Collection at the Skylight Clarkson Sq. event space in Manhattan.
Aveda Men’s styling products lined up at the first-ever Men’s Fashion Week in New York City which complemented the utilitarian menswear that was set against a police line-up backdrop.
Aveda Global Artistic Director for Hair Styling, Allen Ruiz, embraced each model’s natural texture and style. “This is my fourth season with designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne. Each time their designs get more innovative which allows me to have that much more fun with styling the hair,” Ruiz said.
How to Get the Look
Step 1: Prep towel-dried hair with the new Aveda Thickening Tonic by spraying thoroughly from roots to ends, in sections.
Step 2: Comb through to distribute evenly.
Step 3: Blow-dry hair with fingers.
