Keratherapy, innovator of formaldehyde-free keratin smoothing treatments for hair, announced the appointment of Misha Belfer of Denver, Colo. as the company’s first International Creative Director.
The appointment, according to David Mulhollen Jr., president and cofounder, is a strategic step toward extending the brand worldwide: “The product is the fastest-growing keratin smoothing product manufacturer on record and plans for their continued rapid growth have exploded internationally.”
Belfer is an international platform artist, master stylist, educator and visionary. A platform artist with 15 years in the industry, Belfer has gained a reputation as an irrepressible creative talent at New York’s Fashion Week and other high profile events, trade shows and fashion shows. His work has been published in Estetica USA, American Salon and Launchpad, Mile High Sports, 303 Magazine and more. Belfer is an internationally recognized dancer having performed at Blackpool and staring on “So You Think You Can Dance” as the first male-duo dance partners ever televised. He got his start styling updos for his dance partners, and his styles proved to withstand the athleticism practiced on the dance floor.
Belfer will continue to operate his own eponymous Salon Misha located on one of the city’s main business strips on Broadway in Denver, Colorado.
