On Sunday June 7th the Sanrizz team took part in the ‘Race For Kids’ at Battersea Park, London. Raising US$1,225 for Great Ormond Street Children’s Charity, the team made their way around a fun 5 KM course during the morning.
Completing the course, including some record finishing times being notched up the team led by Founder, Tony Rizzo, enjoyed a lunchtime picnic in the sun for their efforts.
“It was really inspiring to see so many families taking part in the race and having fun and I was particularly proud of the Sanrizz team who made such a great effort,” remarks Tony Rizzo, Founder, Sanrizz.
“The RBC Race for the Kids was the most thought-provoking, exciting and worthwhile race I have ever taken part in. It was my daughter’s first race and it certainly will not be her last. Thank you GOSH,” says Rachel Molnar, mum of GOSH patient and Race for the Kids participant.
The funds raised on the day will go towards Alternative Hair’s pledge to Jasper De Boer’s drug redeployment research.
