Canadian Hairdresser Magazine’s 21st annual Mirror Awards celebrating the hair & beauty industry’s best and most inspirational, took place in downtown Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre surpassing the success of all previous Mirror Awards!
Sponsored by the best names in the industry, the 2015 Mirror Awards welcomed 800 guests to marvel at the collections of 102 talented finalists from 21 categories. With coveted awards such as Colourist of the Year, Makeup Artist of the Year, and of course our most prestigious award of the night, Canadian Hairdresser of the Year, Canada’s finest professionals gathered at Mirror Awards gala to indulge in a night of inspiration and celebration. In addition, this year Joe Chimenti of Marca College was presented with the esteemed Lifetime Achievement Award for all the hard work and dedication he has put into our wonderful industry.
This year’s theme, Reflections, inspired truly outstanding performances by Sassoon Academy, Wella Professionals, Donato Academy, Beauty Industry Gals and fashion gurus, P&J Concept. Guests walked their polished fingers down the CND sponsored MANI CAM for a chance to win amazing prizes from CND and rubbed elbows with the best in the industry. As icing on the cake Canadian Hairdresser Magazine hosted the After Party sponsored by Grey Goose at Toronto’s hottest nighclub, Muzik, following the Mirror Awards. Guests and their friends & family danced the night away surrounded by the winning collections flashing by on Muzik’s many screens as they sipped their cocktails.
