London Collections: Men 2015 – Effortless, Chic and Undone Hair by Fudge

Fudge Professional had another sensational season at the recent London Collections: Men AW15 as the Official Hair Partner. Creating both stand out looks for the models on the runway and the VIP front row guests with the Fudge Fix.

Alongside creating the looks for seven shows, Fudge Professional hosted ‘The Fudge Fix’, a dedicated pop-up salon area based at the hub of Men’s Fashion Week, Victoria House. Managed by the Fudge Brand Ambassadors, fashions’ finest were treated to complementary styling using Fudge Professional products and the latest electrical tools from BaByliss PRO, including the Titanium Expression Collection and V-Blade Lithium Clipper and Trimmer.

Effortless, chic and undone hair was a key trend at this seasons LC:M, with Christopher Shannon, James Long, Matthew Miller and Craig Green all sporting the look. Hair at Lee Roach was an interesting contrast of matte versus high shine and the models at Belstaff rocked 1950’s quiffs, each styled differently so that no two models looked the same. Continuing to push runway boundaries, models at the Katie Eary show wore ‘dreadlock brain’s’ in a variety of colours mirroring the brain themed collection.

To help inspire guests at The Fudge Fix, Fudge Professional created an exclusive LC:M styling menu, offering a variety of on trend looks such as ‘Let’s Braid Out’, ‘Texture Experimenter’ and ‘Groom To Go’. Guests did not shy away from sharing their new do’s with their friends, thanks to the built-in social media photo-booth. In addition to styling guests, the Fudge Brand Ambassadors showcased their talent and passion for the brand by transforming the hair of selected models using Fudge Professional products such as Paintbox.

To mark the end of an unforgettable four days of innovation, excitement and super cool hair, John Vial, Creative Director for Fudge Professional and Stephanie Bruce, Head of Fudge Professional, invited the LC:M team and members of the press to a champagne reception at The Fudge Fix.

Speaking about the hair styles at LC:M AW15, John Vial said: “We saw a major trend for effortless hair this season. We’re talking hair that’s styled just enough so that it’s noticeable – this will be the staple look of this coming autumn/winter. Our new Fudge Professional Light HED-ed Hair Oil, due to launch later this year, is mega light and non-greasy and was perfect for creating this slightly groomed look.”

Commenting on the experience, Stephanie Bruce said: “The Fudge Professional team pulled off another fantastic season at London Collections: Men. The team backstage were seamless, creating stunning and original looks that worked with the new collections to deliver a show stopping performances on the runway. What’s more, The Fudge Fix, kindly supported by BaByliss PRO, proved to be the fashion week hot spot and was inundated with guests. I was impressed by the commitment and creativity of the Brand Ambassadors who worked hard to make the pop up a huge success. Involving our customers in every aspect of what we do is high on our agenda and it’s a real bonus when we can support the development of their portfolios through doing this.”
