The model and trendsetter will make her debut with Redken early in 2015, starring the new advertising and social medial campaigns for Extreme Haircare.
The Korean model and trendsetter, Soo Joo Park, is the new muse for Redken 5th Avenue. She will make her debut in early 2015, appearing in the Extreme Haircare advertising campaign, shot by Matt Irwin, and in a social media campaign that will enable users to have a preview of the various facets of her life and a journey in the world of hair fashion.
Having gained success thanks to her hairlook transformations, Soo Joo is one of the favorite models of the best international fashion stylists. Thanks to her personality, her social media awareness, and her street-style cut, she has redefined the role of models today. This is why, following Lea T., Soo also joins the line-up of muses and trendsetters for Redken, along with Sky Ferreira, international fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni, famous hairstylist Guido Palau, and celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham.
“Soo Joo is sensational. She cannot help but break with tradition. She has a self-image that is evident in her style, unique in her genre, and in her stunning transformations,” says Shane Wolf, Global General Manager Redken 5th Avenue. “Her boldness and her modern approach to beauty make her the perfect muse for Redken”.
Indeed, Soo Joo has taken part in advertising campaigns for Chanel, Tom Ford and DKNY, runways for countless stylists, and has appeared on the covers of many magazines, including Harper’s Bazaar, V, Interview, Vogue Korea, Vogue Japan, Wonderland, Numero and many more.
“I’ve been through several changes in hairstyle,” says Soo Joo. “Hair is an expression of your personality and speaks to who you are. I adore the fact that they can transform my look and define my style. I’m very happy to have been chosen as a muse for Redken and can’t wait to share my journey in the world of hair.”
