Lace, Lingerie, Glamour and Angel Wings. The hottest show of the year – the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2014 took place for the first time in London!
More than 40 Victoria’s Secret models from around the world graced the runway. This year’ss Angels included: Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel. Other supermodels included Jourdan Dunn, Izabel Goulart and Shanina Shaik. Some of the runway looks included “Gilded Angels” that celebrated the iconic Victoria’s Secret Angel, the “Exotic Traveler” displayed vibrant fabric and textures, and the “Dream Girl” that show cased playful looks, just to name a few.
According to USA Today to get the models perfect it required 25 hairstylists, 25 makeup artists and 9 manicurists. “Honorary Angel of the Day” was singer Taylor Swift who had two outfit changes and performances. Other performances included Ariana Grande who had a run in with one of the Angel’s wings, but later laughed about it on Twitter and also Ed Shera and Hozier.
Viewers will get to see the fashion show on December 9th at 9:00 pm EST on CBS.
