As if Monaco couldn’t be any more glamorous, Wella Professionals brought their most buzzed about annual event of international hairdressing to Monte Carlo!
The celebration of the industry’s most acclaimed talent was recognized at the 2014 International Trend Vision Awards (ITVA) and the 2015 Trend Vision collections release. The ceremony was broadcasted live from Monaco and viewers world wide were able to log into www.wella.com/live to view the show and support their favorites.
The 61 stylist and colorists from at least 35 countries gathered in a global celebration of Wella Professionals’ 12th year of holding the event. The stylists took to the stage to compete for victory in the Color and Young Talent Categories, inspired by the 2014 Urban Native and Borderline Beauty trends. One of the more exciting moments was the People’s Choice Awards which allowed people from around the world to log into Wella’s websites and celebrate their favorite stylist by voting.
The finalists were judged by an expert panel of judges that included Global Creative Directors Josh Wood (Color) and Eugene Souleiman (Styling) media representatives and top international stylists.
International Trend Vision Awards 2014 Winners
- COLOR CATEGORY
- The prestigious Platinum Color Award was won by CHIA-JUNG LIN (TAIWAN). Australia, Thailand and New Zealand were also recognized for their talent in hair color.
- Platinum: Chia-Jung Lin (Taiwan)
Gold: Lynda Salmon (Australia)
Silver: Nattapat Suppala (Thailand)
Bronze: Chinney Yeap (New Zealand)
YOUNG TALENT CATEGORY
The highly fought after Platinum Young Talent Award was won by NESTOR SANCHEZ GOMEZ (UK). Czech Republic, Moldova and Australia were awarded the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in the category.

- Gold: Lenka Walderova (Czech Republic)
- Silver: Olga Istrati (Moldova)
- Bronze: Scott Condon (Australia)
PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS
As voted for by viewers world wide, Alexandru Gherase (Romania) & Seraphina Foo (Singapore) received the two People’s Choice Awards in the Color and Young Talent categories respectively.
