Eden Sassoon Talks About Her Famous Dad & Why She Supports The Thirst Project

Eden Sassoon is the daughter of the legendary beauty icon Vidal Sassoon, who revolutionized the beauty industry by creating a new standard for hair care in the 1960s.

Over 50 years later, Eden invigorated the family legacy when she thought about the constant scheduling, time commitment, and cost it took to get her hair, nails, makeup, and lashes applied at different locations. She envisioned an easier way for women juggling careers, family, friends, and social events with limited time to get from A to Z. The result: EDEN by Eden Sassoon, an unparalleled finishing studio that offers personalized hair, nail, makeup, and lash treatments under one roof with exemplary service and efficiency. Eden also owns the popular Beverly Hills Pilates studio, Pilates Plus by Eden Sassoon.

Seth Maxwell is the founder and CEO of The Thirst Project, a creative and diverse nonprofit organization with a bold commitment to ending the clean water crisis. In less than 6 years, The Thirst Project has raised over $8 million and funded over 938 water projects in 12 countries, giving clean water and hope to hundreds of thousands of people. A storyteller at heart, Seth has spoken internationally at schools, churches, and conferences, including the TEDx Hollywood Youth Conference and Nexus Global Youth Summit. He gave the 2014 commencement address for Masters of Science in Communications School at Northwestern University, and he met with Obama administration officials at the White House to discuss ways to activate Millennials for social justice and social change. He was named to Forbes’ “30 Under 30” in 2014 and he received the VH1 Do Something Award and the Charles Jellinger Humanitarian in Entertainment Award from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. With his inspiring and humorous style, Seth challenges people’s thinking and touches their hearts.
