Park West Barber School, a leading provider in barber education, has announced plans to open a second Charlotte campus to meet the growing demand for quality professional barbering services.
Construction of the campus, located at 8925 J M Keynes Drive in Shoppes at University Place is currently underway. Marking the fifth North Carolina campus for Park West Barber School, the institution will open doors to students with its first class beginning in December. The campus will join Park West Barber School’s location on Wilkinson Boulevard to better serve the greater Charlotte area, which opened in March.
With additional locations in Durham, Greensboro and Raleigh, North Carolina; and Virginia & Arkansas, Park West Barber School has experienced tremendous growth over the past eight years. The opening of the second Charlotte campus is a response to increasing demand for professional education and high-level training for the barbering industry. Students at the institution can expect hands-on experience, in addition to practical and theory based courses designed to impart unparalleled barbering business expertise.
These programs, offered through morning, day and evening classes, are designed to give the student a strong foundation of the history, theory, and business of barbering while gaining the practical proficiencies and skills necessary for a career and leadership in the barbering industry. Both full and part-time schedules are offered and students can complete the barbering programs from 12 to 18 months based upon part-time or full-time enrollment.
“As the demand for quality barbering services has grown in the greater Charlotte area and throughout the country, so has the demand for professional barbering training and education,” said Timothy McIntosh Jr., partner of Park West Barber School. “In response to this trend, we are excited to open our second Charlotte campus and train the next generation of barbering industry leaders. At Park West Barber School, we offer students the opportunity to become successful graduates who can thrive in an increasingly competitive workforce through top-notch education and hands-on experience. We look forward to this new campus and its students becoming an integral part of the local community”
