Last week, actress Italia Ricci joined breast cancer survivors from City of Hope at the JCP Salon in Glendale, California, to help kickoff “Cuts for Hope.”
The star of ABC Family’s Chasing Life was bringing awareness for the campaign that will raise funds for breast cancer research and treatment at City of Hope. The women mingled and got their hair styled by Nick Stenson, JCP Salon’s artistic director.
“Cuts for Hope” takes place at all 950 JCP salons across the country since last Saturday, October 11 through Sunday, October 18. JCPenney will donate $1 from every haircut or trim to City of Hope’s breast cancer program, up to $100,000.
