Finally we have been presented with the names of the winners and the finalists for each category for the 2014-2015 AIPP Awards!
The AIPP Awards is the most prestigious hairstyling photographic contest in the world, organized by the AIPP (International Professional Hair Magazines Association). This year, a new participation record was set: with 561 collections received, arriving from 34 countries around the world!
Vivienne Mackinder (USA) who’s been in the industry for more than 35 years, won the coveted category of Best Commercial Hairstyling, making her the 4th American stylist to win an AIPP Award! Before her some American stylists who brought home an AIPP Award have been: Yosh for Hair (2000-2001), Rusk (2002-2003), and Robert Lobetta (2006-2007).
Vivienne’s impressive editorial stylist/platform artist career is filled with accolades and successes of all kinds. Amongst a lengthy list of achievements, she is a 5 time NAHA winner, John Maxwell certified coach and keynote speaker, and is one of the most highly respected international leaders and innovators in the hairdressing profession today. Congratulations Vivienne!
The AIPP Awards ceremony will take place during the 2014 Alternative Hair Show, in the fabulous Royal Albert Hall in London, on Sunday, October 12th, 2014.
