At the Noble by William Rast SS2015 presentation, attendees were treated to more than just a fashion show, but Queen of the Night’s spectacle of dance, aerial and acrobatics – with hair fitting for the scene!
Lead stylist Maranda created three looks using Kevin.Murphy products!
All the female models were prepped with Body.Builder, a weightless volumizing spray mousse. Hair was then blow dried and given instantaneous volume and texture with Texture.Master. Maranda then added extensions and made a middle-parted, long braid down the back of the head. Easy.Rider, an anti-frizz creme with flexible hold, was used to smooth the hair and give it extra shine. The entire look was finished with Hair.Resort.Spray.
The three models designated as queens received the same prep; then Powder.Puff and Hair.Resort.Spray were used to build intense volume and texture. Hair ends were finished and smoothed with Easy.Rider. Maranda then braided the front of the hair at the hairline before adding a silver spiked crown.
Male models were also prepped with Body.Builder; then Super.Goo gel was used to create sharp, slick parts.
The collection, founded by Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala, featured a palette of black, white and red hues with standout pieces including quilted leather bomber jackets and vests.
