Brooklyn-Based hair care brand Amika introduces its new Triple Rx Mask, an intensive treatment created to repair, restore, and revitalize dry, overstressed hair.
Working to nourish hair that has been damaged or weakened from coloring, chemical processing or over styling, the Amika Triple Rx Mask is a once-weekly regimen that strengthens and conditions hair back to health.
“The days of going through multiple rounds of conditioner to remedy dull, damages or dry hair are over with the introduction of the Amika Triple Rx Mask,” states Naeemah Lafond, Amika’s Global Artistic Director. “With its potent key ingredients, this treatment delivers immediate results.”
The formula of the Amika Triple Rx Mask combines the power of Obliphica, Amika’s signature ingredient, with Borage Oil and West African Raw Shea Butter. Rich with vitamins, minerals and give principal fatty acid, West African Raw Shea Buttter works to penetrate and coat the hair shaft to condition and protect, while Borage Oil, extracted from the seed of the Star Flower, strengthens and softens hair with its high concentration of the Omega-6 essential fatty acid Gamma-Linolenic Acid. The ultra-restorative Obliphica, also known as Sea Buckthorn Berry, contains a potent amount of Vitamin C as well as Omegas 3,6,7 and 9, to nourish and protect the hair.
The Amika Triple Rx Mask is available in a 500 ml size, as well as a box of ten 20 ml single-use treatment sachets. After cleansing with Amika’s Triple Rx Shampoo (launched in May 2014), gently massage the Amika Triple Rx Mask from the roots to the ends of the hair. The treatment mask can remain in the hair for up to five minutes, and then be rinsed thoroughly with warm water. For optimal results, the Triple Rx Mask should be used once a week.
The Amika Triple Rx Mask will be available in September 2014 at professional salon nationwide.
