Cosmopack, the leading trade fair for the beauty supply chain inside Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, the biggest beauty trade show in the world organized by BolognaFiere, is debuting in New York next Fall!
Cosmopack will bring to NYC a networking and training workshop involving 40 international companies, and the very best of Italian manufacturing for all beauty solutions, from packaging to makeup. Carefully selected buyers and trade press will be taking part, in order to study potential growth in the North American market and winning business strategies.
Cosmopack 2014, the BolognaFiere show devoted to the entire beauty supply chain for “all the beauty solutions” (from packaging to makeup), is organizing its Symposium in New York for the first time on September 22nd-23rd, with a view to offering to selected Italian and international companies the opportunity to discover the US market with meetings with buyers and trade press.
Duccio Campagnoli, the President of BolognaFiere, said in announcing the show: “We felt the need to organize this Symposium because we strongly believe in the development of the US market for the Italian and European manufacturers as well as for the suppliers of the most advanced solutions in technology and creativity that work for the biggest beauty companies worldwide, including many American companies. We already are in the US market with Cosmoprof North America, the most important show for the beauty industry that we organize in partnership with PBA, the Professional Beauty Association. The US market is the third in the world after Brazil and China, and we think it is important to create a networking platform for the East Coast as well, where there is one of the most important manufacturing districts in US. Thanks to the collaboration with Cosmetica Italia and the Polo Tecnologico della Cosmesi we are able to offer this great opportunity to a selected group of companies, to help them to be more competitive in this challenging global market.”
The New York Symposium will open with a presentation of the research project Euromonitor was commissioned by Cosmopack. This market survey will focus on the special features of the American market in sessions that tackle issues concerning interaction between companies and buyers (selected from the most important purchasing managers of major cosmetic companies and retail groups), studying winning tools and special methods for breaking into this specific market. The presence of both the American and Italian trade press that have been invited to take part will guarantee visibility and, above all, create an important information network for companies that will be able to take advantage of a dedicated media showcase.

The 2014 edition of Cosmopack Bologna, the trade fair of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna beauty manufacturing-industry, drew to a close with figures of 18,224 visitors (including 12,500 from abroad), 14,000 square feet of surface area sold, +9% compared to the previous edition, and 400 exhibitors from 33 different countries. The creative content, products on display and innovative formulas make this a unique event of its kind. Cosmopack manages to encompass the whole of the cosmetics industry in one big hub, covering everything from raw materials and machinery to the most innovative packaging and high-performance textures.
Cosmopack 2015 will take place in Bologna from 19th to 22nd March 2015. Cosmoprof Bologna will go on from 20th to 23rd March 2015.
