David Antunes is friend and stylist to the realty star Teresa Giudice and the man behind the new look for her trendsetting hair in Season 6 of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Teresa stated, “David always makes my hair look fabulous. He is the best hairdresser and friend.“
“Teresa is known for her style, both hair and fashion. When I started working with her I wanted to help slowly revamp her image to represent the different sides of her – fun and glamorous, chic and modern. It can change every day for Teresa as a TV personality, business owner and mom,” states David Antunes, Teresa’s personal stylist.
When David first met Teresa her hair was long and straight and had a tremendous amount of color build up from being colored jet black. David recommended a drastic change to achieve a sophisticated and classic look. He added long layers, giving texture, volume, movement and shape to her haircut. Layers also brought out her natural curl or wave and gave a sexy bounce to her long hair by highlighting different lengths with lovely waves of curls.
The biggest transformation was her hair color. David changed her hair from a very dark jet black to a softer espresso, chocolate brown. He created this color for her by doing a technique on Teresa called color blocking, which are sections of hair colored in different tones to create dimension. David completed her look by adding a few subtle pecan toned highlights around her face to enhance her beautiful green eyes, which brightens up her face!
