There is no such thing as natural beauty – if everyone stopped wearing make up, styling/coloring their hair, never plucked/waxed/shaved, it would be pretty scary out there!
There are very few beauty virgins out there – these days EVERYONE has to do a little sumthin sumthin to bring out their inner beauty…and it usually includes coloring hair at some point.
“Most women color their hair – sure to cover grays, but also just for fun and fashion– especially with all the vibrant new colors and Ombré,” says Boom Boom, owner of Boom Boom Brow Bar. “…when hair color changes it impacts the arches, so it’s a good idea to tweak them when you change your haircolor,” she adds.
Tinting is the best way to change brow color, plus it makes brows look thicker and longer!! Watch the video to check how it’s done!
Tips:
- > Go darker versus lighter to frame and define eyes.
- > If hair and skin has natural warm tones, stick with a warm tone, same for cool.
- > Use a brow powder or pencil to add length and width.
- > Never lift brow color – when hair grows the regrowth will show.
Blondes
Blondes tend to look washed out when brows are not defined, choose a color that’s a tad bit darker than natural haircolor to make eyes pop.
Brunettes
There’s nothing better that full, rich, beautifully shaped brunette brows – they are the envy of all. Liz Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren, Madonna… need we say more?
Redheads
Do not match brows to the hair on your head, you need a slight contrast, so go a little darker to spice things up. You want your brows to blend in with your overall look, not stand out as a sidekick to your mane.
