Celebrated colorist Brad Johns joins Samuel Shriqui Salon

Brad Johns announces the launch of his Color Studio at Samuel Shriqui Salon in New York City, where he will continue to set the latest trends in hair color seen around the world.

Dubbed the Golden Boy, Brad is known as the founding father of “chunking”, a blonde-on blonde technique which results in ‘child on the beach’ hair. Today, Brad’s look is constantly evolving, creating new methods and setting new trends.

Brad’s core philosophy is simple: hair color should complement eyes first, the skin second and the season third. The shade range in which someone should stay is determined by his or her childhood hair color. Brad’s intuition and keen eye serve him well.  His individual approach to hair color has made him a favorite among the film, modeling and music industries. Christy Turlington, Johnny Depp, Jamie King, Cindy Sherman, Kristen Johnston, Alex McCord and Matthew Modine are just a few who have entrusted their locks to Brad.

Brad is most proud of his impressive clientele of New York City influencers, and has a celebrity following of every shade and hue. One might say his morning salon line up Is the “who’s who” of fabulous females. From beauty editors to socialites and CEOs, the women who run Manhattan go to Brad for his obsessive attention to color detail and his amazing loyalty. “All women are beautiful,” says Brad. His job is simply to provide the “icing on the cake”.

At Samuel Shriqui, Brad is thrilled to utilize L’Oréal Professionnel color, as well as Kérastase and Shu Uemura Art of Hair care and styling collections, to take luxury care and expert service to the next level by offering outstanding product performance and innovation to his clientele.
