There are few in the hair and beauty industry with as much to do or say as the charismatic and fascinating Marcus Allen, former salon manager at the 22,000 square foot Urban Retreat in London at world-famous Harrods.
Louisiana-born Marcus Allen has mastered the art of salon management while being at the core of possibly the largest single-unit salon business in the world. With 220 staff, 11,000 to 14,000 services a month Marcus has managed the salon and spa into a £15.7 million ($23.5 million) business, all while working behind the chair.
Marcus is joining Unite Haircare as Global Education Director, where he will continue to develop technical and business programs in both North America and Europe. Unite founder and CEO Andrew Dale, joined Marcus, to deliver Paramount Business 1: Strategy, in Chicago June 8-9.
