Yesterday was Day 3 of Miami Fashion Week… and the catwalk at Miami Beach Convention Center was filled with beautiful designs and gorgeous hairstyles!
The night started off with the Eveningwear Showcase with designers known for their originality and feminine style; Fadila Kihel, Magnolia, Teresa Rosati, and Olga Bolaños. Elegant dresses and sky high ponytails that were curled, and straight paraded the catwalk.
The Argentina Showcase took place after, with designers Agostina Bianchi, Emprendedores de Nuestra Tierra, Cuatro Colorado, and Mariana Castro. The hair looks varied from sleek and pin straight ponytails to extravagant hats and hair accessories.
The vibrant Italian Showcase included designers Stella Jean and Maliparmi. The hairstyles for both presentations were relaxed, and very natural-looking low ponytails. Stella Jean is an Italian-Haitian. Her fashion line, Stella Jean, is a union between waxed textiles, fifties chic, men’s shirt fabrics and an impeccable European cuts. Maliparmi’s designs look ahead while remembering the important lesson of the past, using new technologies to re-elaborate old craft secrets.
Day 3 of Miami Fashion Week wrapped up with one of the most anticipated showcases of the event: the Swimwear Showcase. Designers Sambarela, Indie Soul, and Yamamay turned up the heat on the catwalk! Miss Universe 2013, Gabriela Isler, strutted her stuff on the catwalk for the prestigious Italian brand Yamamay as it unveiled its Summer 2014 collection. The models were instant bombshells with their beachy waves on the catwalk.
The amazing Spanish team of Cool Producciones took care of all hairstyling and make-up backstage for the shows; under the direction of Yolanda López, general manager of Cool Producciones, Soledad Rebollar, head of hairstyling, and José Belmonte, head of make-up, with the assistance of Miami’s Symbols Beauty Salon Team.
