Sheriff Mehmet, owner of Envy Barbers Education, and Men’s Grooming Director at the British Barbers’ Association has made a special trip to Oklahoma in the United States to train Rick Bennett, Greg Welchel and Tammy Briggs, co-owners of Trichology Salon and their team in preparation for launching a brand new hair academy.
The partners are due to open their new venture, the Hair Arts Institute, which will be the first ever barbering school to be certified by the British Barbers’ Association in North America.
When asked of his experience Sheriff said “It gives me great pleasure to travel and share my expertise with teams around the globe. I have high standards and training others to offer those standards is natural for me”.
Greg Welchel said “By having Sheriff at the Hair Arts Institute not only did he arm our team with the knowledge needed to teach others the art of shaving, he also instilled the rich tradition of men’s grooming/barbering, and the discipline it takes to perform the craft to an impressive standard”.
Sheriff Mehmet recently grew his barbering group by opening a further barbershop in the East London area.
