Hundreds of leading hair stylists from around the country will gather to attend the Third Annual Hollywood BeautyMaker Awards produced by BE! Beauty Entertainment, The Salon People Magazine and Salon City Media.
The event will take place on Sunday evening, February 16, 2014 in the Blossom Room of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, 7000 Hollywood Boulevard (at Orange Street), Hollywood, CA 90028 from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. The event will be co-hosted by Steve Lococo, Co-Owner and Style Director of B2V Salon in West Hollywood, CA and Victor ValVerde, Co-Founder, Director of Operations and Chief Financial Officer for Salon Sessions Studio in Pasadena, CA and Cuthaus Solon in Covina, CA.
Steven Casciola and Annie Casciola, Publishers of BE! Beauty Entertainment magazine and Producers of the event said: “We are very excited to bring our annual awards show to Hollywood for the first time. Our event celebrates and honors hair salon people who are making a positive difference in society and recognizes role models from all segments of the beauty world. Eight Hollywood BeautyMaker Awards will be bestowed upon the winners. Twenty-nine models with their 29 stylists, representing nine states around the country, will compete before a panel of 20 Hollywood BeautyMaker Awards Celebrity Judges representing bi-coastal hair salons at the event.”
The event kicks off with Red Carpet Arrivals from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at which time a Model Showcase featuring 29 models strutting the latest hairstyles of today will commence. The Awards Show proper begins at 8:00 p.m., followed by an After Party Poolside, sponsored by BE! Beauty Entertainment magazine, from 9:00 – 10:00 p.m. with a cash bar, complimentary refreshments and a Gift Suite. A Private VIP Reception, sponsored by Oribe will be held at 5:00 p.m.
Award Recipients will include: Martino Cartier, Jim Markham, Jose Mastalia, Vito Mazza Spa & Salon, Mike Nave and Phillip Wilson. In addition a BeautyMaker Award for Salon Showcase BeautyMaker of the Year will be announced at the event.
Celebrity Hair Stylist Judges adjudicating the Salon Showcase will include: Neeko Abriol, George Alderete, Kaz Amor, Jonathan Antin, Chrystofer Benson, Martino Cartier, Anthony Edge, Nicholas French, Amanda George, Shauky Gulamani, Kien Hoang, Steve Lococo, Amy Michleb, Woody Michleb, Louis Orozco, Suzanne Strum, Nick Stenson, Victor ValVerde, Joel Warren and Phillip Wilson.
