Elizabeth K. Christie, Executive Chairman of the Board of SureTint Technologies, is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Wright to Chief Executive Officer of the company effective February 2014.
SureTint Technologies is an innovator of professional salon hair color software and technology. Wright joined SureTint Technologies in January of 2011, as Chief Architect and Vice President and has been a key member of the Management team where he guided all engineering activities, including software development and implementation for the company.
Wright is responsible for creating SureTint 4.0, the newest version of the patented software system taking the salon community by storm. SureTint is the only system in the market that provides measured batch sizing, hair color accuracy, exact formula repeatability, business data, reporting and management tools never before available in the industry. SureTint 4.0 provides benefits for salon owners and managers, as well as colorists and their clients, by delivering consistency, efficiency and savings day after day. In his new role as CEO, Wright will be responsible for all day-to-day corporate management, P&L, operations and strategy.

Prior to launching his own business in 2003, Wright spent his entire 20-year career with Bell Laboratories successfully working on extremely sophisticated software and computer systems. Wright earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MBA degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
