Talented indie artists from all walks of life gathered for RAWards 5th Annual Indie Arts Award Show on January 19, 2014 in Los Angeles, California.
The event kicked off with a cocktail party and an unforgettable show that honored the nine national 2013 RAWards winners in indie fashion design, music, performing arts, visual arts, film, accessory design, photography, make up and of course hair.
As an official sponsor and judge in the Hair & Make up category, Indie Hair helped award RAWards Hairstylist of the Year: Vanessa Rockey. She specializes in bridal styling, precision hair cutting and dimensional color. Most importantly, she loves her craft and making people feel beautiful every day. She draws her inspiration from architecture, music, aquariums, nature, piles of hair, styrofoam, hot glue and glitter.
The obsession with hair continued at the Indie Hair booth, where Indie Team member Karla Vazquez and Co-President Creative Mia Liguori McHugh showed RAWard attendees how to mix products, create unconventional looks and tap into their individuality.
