The People’s Choice Awards were handed out Wednesday night at the Nokia Theatre in L.A and the evening was filled with plenty of buzz-worthy looks! The annual award show allowed fans to vote on 58 categories for their favorites.
Actress Sandra Bullock was one of the biggest winners of the evening: with nominations 14 of the 60 categories! Bullock took home the award for best actress, best comedy actress for ‘The Heat’ and best dramatic actress thanks to ‘Gravity’, a film that also earned her the award for favorite movie duo with George Clooney. She opted for a very spring-like style, with tousled beach waves. Fun, loose beachy hair were a favorite of the night, stars like Kaley Cuoco and Malin Akerman also opted for the relaxed look.
Jessica Alba looked perfectly polished in a wight body hugging dress by Jason Wu. Her middle part and sleek straight hair was the perfect hairstyle for this refined look. Jennifer Hudson also looked gorgeous in white, with her curve hugging long sleeve dress. Her make up and volumized pixie cut were perfect for her dress, a bright pop of pink for her lipstick was a great choice to make this look sexy and fun.
Glee star, Naya Rivera, debuted her complete transformation on the red carpet last night–and WOAH! Naya ditched her usual long raven locks for a very light caramel blonde, hair color. She looked amazing and her shoulder length hair was perfect for her bombshell red carpet look. Naya wore a sexy nude, white and black Michael Kors dress.
One of our favorite hairstyles of the night was Heidi Klum, who never disappoints. She wore a plunging low-cut dress by Giorgio Armani autumn 2013 collection with a high sleek pony tail braid.
Many stars opted to have their hair up for the night including Girls actress, Allison Williams, looked sensational in a David Koma dress. She wore a seriously asymmetrical updo, she had a deep side part, with the rest of her hair collected and left a loose chunk on the right side of her face.
The stunning Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev, was an absolute knock out for the night – not only cause of her sexy smokey-eye, but especially because of her insane up-do! Nina opted to put her hair up in an edgy and sexy style to show off the dress. Her ‘knothawk’ contained about 100 knots that went from the back of her hair all the way to the top!
Red dresses seemed to be popular for the night. Stana Katic was a hit in a Naeem Khan red lace gown. Stana had her hair pulled back and in a low braid. Actress from MTV show Awkward, Desi Lydic, looked gorgeous in a red gown also by Chiara Boni, She had all of her hair collected in a beautiful wavy updo.
