The World’s Best-Known Beauty Icons to be at America’s Beauty Show in Chicago, March 22-24, 2014
Cosmetologists Chicago (CC), owner and producer of America’s Beauty Show (ABS), announces a truly spectacular line-up of talent for The Runway @ ABS stage. America’s Beauty Show 2014 will take place at McCormick Place West, in downtown Chicago, on March 22-24, 2014.
“Our goal in selecting the stars for The Runway”, said CC President Joseph Cartagena in making the announcement, “is to bring the finest global talent and fashion-forward education to our ABS attendees. For 2014, we have achieved, even exceeded, our goal with talent that brings the entire world of beauty to downtown Chicago in March! We are all quite proud”.
Leading the Runway performances will be Tracey Hughes of Melbourne, Australia. Tracey travels the world teaching salon professionals when not in her salon or photographing trend-setting hairstyles. She was such a hit with ABS attendees in 2013 that the CC Board of Directors voted to have her return in 2014.
Wella Professionals brings Joey Scandizzo of Melbourne, Australia to America’s Beauty Show Runway. Named “Australian Hairdresser of the Year” three years running, Joey has already built a strong celebrity clientele, and directs a dynamic creative team at ELEVENAustralia.
Redken 5th Avenue’s muse is incredible, adorable, loved-by-all Sam Villa brings his unique blend of technical and artistic skills, and contagious spirit to the America’s Beauty Show Runway! Redken’s Education Artistic Director, Sam always draws people in and makes them want to learn.
The ever-exciting Vidal Sassoon Academy Team from London and New York, and led by the inimitable Mark Hayes, will inspire and motivate with a fresh new, and young approach to classic Sassoon style.
Led by TIGI Global Creative Director Nick Irwin, and TIGI Global Technical Director Christel Lundqvist, the TIGI Team brings a global view of beauty to the Runway at America’s Beauty Show. Londoner Nick is known for the collections he created with his mentor Anthony Mascolo, and his own inspirational imagery that are at the heart of his work.
