Felix Fischer for Moroccanoil updates a vintage bridal beehive with texture for the Ines Di Santo Couture Bridal Collection.
The Ines Di Santo Couture Collection takes flight into a dreamy, sensual, otherworldly realm with a feminine palette that introduced a lavender hue in addition to cameo pink, blush and champagne. Known for her signature mermaid styles, it seems only fitting that the collectionbe partly influenced by the legendary city of Atlantis. The underwater world inspired the airy silhouettes that seem to float along with sublime lightness.
Leading runway stylist Felix Fischer for Moroccanoil gave sophisticated couture buns an updated vibe by amplifying shape and texture. Smooth buns are out, roughed-up buns are in. By adding waved extensions before shaping the hair into oversized bubble-buns, Fischer succeeded in adding a unique textural depth to an an otherwide classic look.
“I was inspired by the exceptional beauty and design of Ines’ gowns, and the brilliant hair looks created for the great couture houses in the 60’s by master stylist Alexandre De Paris, as well as the looks he did for Elizabeth Taylor at the time,” he explained.
