Imagine if your salon was destroyed just before the busy holiday season… devastating, right?
In 2012, Cosmetologists Chicago raised and presented considerable funds to aid salon professionals and owners affected by Hurricane Sandy in the Northeast. Now this association of 5,000 that owns and produces America’s Beauty Show, has established the Cosmetologists Chicago Tornado Assistance Fund to help salon pros in the tragic aftermath of the tornadoes that hit our Midwest so hard on Sunday, November 17th. The heartbreaking devastation will continue to affect our friends and neighbors for months to come.
Cosmetologists Chicago and Cosmetologists Illinois have already reached out to identify salons and salon professionals in the worse hit areas. They will “adopt” as many as possible and provide funds to help them get back on their feet. They are also giving them complimentary admission to America’s Beauty Show in March to motivate and inspire them in their careers.
