All the buzz around the MTV EMAs 2013 isn’t just about Miley Cyrus sparking up on stage; there were some seriously buzz worthy looks!
The EMA’s is an event where the worlds biggest stars can have a little fun with their style, and they definitely did. The night was filled with wild and edgy looks, while others kept it classy and chic. The EMA’s were held in the Ziggo Dome of Amsterdam, and was filled with huge celebrities like Katy Perry, Bruno Mars and Eminem.
Miley Cyrus opened the Award Night with her hit single, “We can’t stop”, and left very little to the imagination, wearing a plunging and backless mini dress that said ‘Please stop violence”‘ and that was not her only risqué look of the night! Cyrus also took the stage in a revealing white leotard to belt out her song “Wrecking Ball”, and once again to collect the award for Best Video of the Year for “Wrecking ball”.
Another huge star of the night, Katy Perry, took home the award for Best Female Artist and chose to keep it classy and fun, wearing a María Escoté Spring 2014 black fishnet dress with a black bodysuit inset. She completed her look by wearing her hair in a sleek wavy high ponytail, bright red lips, and chunky gold Chanel accessories. Katy Perry’s performance of “Unconditionally”, with the singer suspended above the stage, was one of the most striking moments of the evening.
Among the best celebrity looks of the night were Rita Ora, Sylvie van der Vaart, and the beautiful Australian model Shanina Shaik. The presenters of the night Laura Whitmore and Louise Roe also deserve a nod for their fun and fresh looks.
