Nearly 1,000 guests from all over the Asian continent gathered last October 23rd in Hong Kong, to enjoy the first edition of the Style Masters Show in Asia.
Revlon Professional’s Style Masters show originated in Europe with the objective of recognizing the professional hairdressers with the prestige they deserve. After the first international show in Prague in 2009, which followed four editions of the Style Masters Show in Berlin, Amsterdam, Budapest and Madrid, this has become one of the biggest international events of creativity and style in hairdressing.
The Style Masters show was transferred for the first time to Asia to show parts of what was presented in Madrid last April 29th; the event began with a performance by two Asian contestants of the Style Master International Contest: Tawin Kumpai (winner of Thailand 2013) and Cliff CK Cheung (Hong Kong and Global Winner of 2013), who presented the three hairstyles collections created for the contest.
Miquel Garcia, International Artistic Director of Revlon Professional, surprised everyone with the realization of a very original hairstyle which followed a magnificent and exotic parade.
Robert Masciave, member of the Style Masters Team and runner-up for Best Salon of the Year 2013 in the United Kingdom, starred in the segment Revlon Professional’s Wild Collection with amazing avant-garde hairstyles.
Luc Pesant, Director of Education of Revlon Professional, and Ingrid Kadlecova, Revlon Professional’s Artistic Ambassador, showed two beautiful styles in the collection Privée of Revlon Professional. The colors created with the shade of Revlonissimo (red and copper) were breathtakingly intense and bright.
And to the trends of this year, Miquel Garcia, International Artistic Director of Revlon Professional, bet by medium-length styles with coppery shades, creating very powerful light effects. For blondes, a sophisticated blend of natural textures and volumes which accentuate the feminine personality.
Style Masters Show once again celebrated hairdressing and pride in being a hairdresser.
