When the 14 finalists of the 2013 Battle of the Strands face off in LasVegas on October 14th Andrew Carruthers, Director of Education for Sam Villa® will be there as part of the fun!
2013 Battle of the Stands www.battleofthestrands.com competition is one of the biggest hair, makeup and wardrobe competition that stretches over four countries. And this year the 14 finalists will come together on October 14th in Las Vegas for the final battle to be emceed by Kim Vo and YouTube legend Kandee Johnson. And this year, even Andrew Carruthers, Director of Education for Sam Villa®, is joining in this fun-filled event, teaching a Master Education Class on Sunday, October 13th
“It’s so exciting to have a voice in this competition, it’s made up of the best stylists from many different countries, so I expect that we will have just as much to take away from the weekend as the attendees of our class… probably more,” explains Carruthers.
Carruthers will also has the honor of presenting the “Mastery in Hair Styling” Award, on behalf of Sam Villa®, to the team that showcases the ultimate finishing techniques, appearance and overall impression of the finished style.
