NYFW is always the place to be, so obviously Sexy Hair was there creating stunning and fun-ning coifs for next year’s collections!
Fashion glitterati thronged to the Big Apple to catch up on all the latest trends we can look forward to for Spring/Summer 2014 and Sexy Hair was amidst it all, starting off with the Charlotte Ronson presentation.
Drawing inspiration from the theme ‘A Parisian girl in New York,’ Rafe Hardy, Artistic Director for Sexy Hair, created looks that radiated chic effortless style and playfulness. Rafe raves about the experience saying, “Using products such as our new Spray Clay, Soy Touchable and Dry Shampoo, our artists created styles that serve as go-to looks every girl should have in her beauty repertoire this spring.”
Sexy Hair, in complementing the offbeat glamour and vibrancy of her collection, also served as a sponsor for her After Party at the Marquee Nightclub with a star-studded guest list, including Leigh Lezark, Jessica Alba, Derek Blasberg, AnnaSophia Robb, Chloe Bridges, and Annabelle Dexter-Jones were in attendance.
Sexy Hair artists were backstage again later in the week, this time serving as the exclusive hair style team for Cosmopolitan for an Emerging Designer Showcase with Jennifer Chun at The Glass Houses in NYC. Focusing on the three “F-words” – Fun, Fearless Fashion – the event featured looks from the mid-west designer’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
The designer’s geek-chic and playful style was mirrored to perfection thanks to the sophisticated styles made possible by Big Sexy Hair Spray Clay. Then Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Touchable, the weightless hairspray, finished the look with shine and buildable hold. Sexy Hair artists relied on Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Dry Shampoo to add an extra boost to models’ hair that had already been through the mill of previous shows.
As a special touch, images of the new Sexy Hair advertising campaign featuring new celebrity ambassador; global hair icon Marilyn Monroe, lit up the night sky as they were projected all over town.
