The International Visionary Award, the brainchild of Alternative Hair President Anthony Mascolo, was created to encourage and identify new talent.
Then making it just one of the events of the Alternative Hair programme also offered hairdressers the opportunity to show their artistry on stage in their own show.
Today, what started out as a small U- based competition, has resulted in regional shows in Russia, Europe and Ireland over the last few years. In fact, the International Visionary Award Entries now receives submissions from all over the world, resulting in fierce competition and an exciting mix of creative, avant-garde hairstyling. This year, the finalists selected to make their presentations at the award finale are:

The 31st Alternative Hair show ‘ENIGMA’ is set to take place on Sunday, 13th October at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.
