Sebastian Professional Stylists look to international cities to draw inspiration for the new Urban Explorers Collection and Offer Travel-Size Versions of Care Products
Sebastian Professional’s Urban Explorers collection whisks our imaginations off to the most cosmopolitan cities in the world to absorb the atmosphere and light the inspirational spark for cutting-edge trends in hair styling. Sebastian Professional Global Artistic Directors Michael Polsinelli and Shay Dempsey drew their inspiration from the culture, expression and street style of four cities with provocative and contemporary style: Berlin, San Francisco, São Paulo and Shanghai.
“The best inspiration comes from the most unexpected places; what we see in today’s hair is echoed in current trends and cultures from around the world,” Shay Dempsey explained. “With this collection, Sebastian hopes to expand your mindset and welcome you to a global scale of trendsetting.”
“Depending on where you are in the world, your style is in some way influenced by your location,” added Michael Polsinelli. “With this collection in mind, we want to help give people a fresh, uncharted vision of the world out there.”
“As an editorial and celebrity stylist, I travel all over the world styling hair for shoots, premiers and press events,” said Thomas Dunkin, Sebastian Professional Stylist Design Team member. “Fashion and style statements vary from country to country and even from city to city and can serve as an endless source of inspiration for me. And in keeping with its theme of global jet-setters, Sebastian also unveiled new travel size versions of its top-selling products, like Drench, Volupt and Penetraitt shampoos and conditioners, so trendsetters on-the-go can explore these vibes no matter where they may be or how they got there. These new offerings amplify the lineup of already existing travel sizes.
