Christophe Gaillet, ambassador for L’Oréal Professionnel France, was awarded the 2013 Best International Stylist of the Year at the Canadian Mirror Awards
One of the most prestigious competitions in North America, the Canadian Mirror Awards are organized by Joan Harrison, CEO and Editorial Director of the Canadian Hairdresser magazine.
This evening event ended three months of waiting for Christophe, who had submitted his ABSOLU collection, a series of five visuals that included an avant-garde cut, an up do, an ethnic style, long hair, and even a man’s cut. The starting inspiration: Greek mythology, with all the strength and modernity that characterize it.
This title will allow Christophe to gain visibility by stepping into the North American spotlight. Christophe would like to thank all those who contributed to the production of this collection: make –up artist Anne Arnold, stylist Etienne Jeanson, and photographer Eric Ouaknine. Special thanks to Guylaine Martel, Canadian Emeritus stylist hairdresser, who initiated this wonderful adventure.
