A signature turquoise backdrop and talented artists draw crowds to the Moroccanoil stand
Dominating the centre of Pavilion 25 was the brilliant turquoise backdrop of the Moroccanoil stand and glass counter filled with a variety of products while monitors offered upbeat background music and how-to videos demonstrating just how versatile these quality products are.
But of course, nothing can compare to a hands-on-demonstration, and this is why ladies were lining up for a turn to be primped by the artists available for personalized consultations.
Estetica found Angelo Fraccica in between eager “clients” and he graciously chatted with us about his impressions of Cosmoprof Bologna and his experiences working on the Moroccanoil team at New York Fashion Week.
Perhaps due to the wet weather in Bologna, Angelo told us that the most frequently requested product on Saturday was – not suprisingly – Moroccanoil Frizz Control, but he is quick to point out the importance of making every client feel special by giving a personalized consultation on exactly what her hair needs.
His impression of New York Fashion Week? “I loved it,” he shares, “And I must have left a piece of my heart there because that is all I think about.” And he proves this by replicating two of the styles created ad hoc for designers on two of the models at Cosmoprof. One of them is reminiscent of Botticelli’s Venus, a romantically undone braid serves as a wreath to crown otherwise softly straightened. The other is a loosely braided updo, always with a romantic but perhaps more sophisticated touch.
Angelo doesn’t foresee any particular trends in the near future, except of course beautiful and healthy hair thanks to Moroccanoil products.
