Many of Hollywood’s elite showed up at The Matrix Style Suite within the GBK Oscar’s Lounge in Beverly Hills during Oscars weekend.
Matrix Artistic Director Ammon Carver helped create glam do’s and offer personal consultations on a number of celebrities, offering customized hair strategies to keep their locks looking their best using Matrix’s Biolage, Total Results and Design Pulse collections. Ammon’s special “guests”, including Penny Marshall, Actor Rex Lee of Entourage and Wendi McLendon-Covey from Bridesmaids, took turns in his styling chair in the Lounge to discuss their hair needs and challenges.
After these one-on-one consultations, he reports that Lincoln’s Bruce McGill left with Design Pulse Messy Couture for his strands, and the new Total Results Blonde Care collection—Shampoo, Weightless Conditioner and Flash Filler Sheer Mist–for his wife’s flaxen locks. Another Lincoln star, David Costabile, was enthusiastic about the moisturizing properties of the Biolage Hydrathérapie collection.
“Ashley Williams from How I Met Your Mother came in with a great textured bob,” Ammon reports, “and we decided that Matrix Exquisite Oil Replenishing Treatment was the perfect treatment to control flyaways and enhance her textured cut.”
