Joico/ISO Beauty for Hope Initiative v.s. Breast Cancer

Joico/ISO Beauty for Hope Initiative continues to fight the good fight with year-round efforts to increase awareness and raise funds.

Joico/ISO’s Beauty for Hope Initiative is a year-round campaign that includes fundraising events and promotions plus education, support, encouragement and inspiration for professional stylists bent on setting up their own breast cancer-related events.  And this year, Joico announced a new program that essentially doubles its annual efforts in its fight against breast cancer. It goes without saying that the company once again supported the annual City of Hope fundraiser, held in Las Vegas this July.  (Last year Sara Jones, senior vice president of Joico/ISO was the 2011 City of Hope Spirit of Life Award Recipient.

But in 2012, Joico/ISO further reinforced their efforts by partnering with Beauty Systems Group to offer special edition Joico and ISO Breast Cancer products benefiting Susan G. Komen For the Cure.   Featured Joico duos– in specially-designed pink packaging–include Joico JoiMist Firm and JoiWhip. Stand-alone offerings from ISO include ISO Bouncy Crème, ISO Daily Shape and ISO Daily Finish.

Additionally, the Joico Cares tab on www.joico.com is burgeoning as it continues to acknowledge the salons and stylists who continue to participate in Beauty for Hope events. The online destination also offers a nifty package of downloadable breast cancer programs—including cut-a-thons, silent auctions, “Touch of Pink” ribbon events and service and product promotional programs—that each salon can customize to their individual businesses and communities.  Each package contains posters, planners, letters, press alerts and other printables.

“With the support and enthusiasm of the thousands of caring hairstylists that touch lives all day, every day, we are certain that we can made a difference in the fight against breast cancer,” says Jones.  “We invite all stylists–and their friends and families–to join us in our effort to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and contribute to scientific efforts to find the cures.”

Promotional items are available at participating salons; for salon locations, go to www.joico.com/salon.
