Top hair professionals from across the US and Canada gathered together with an audience of nearly 2000 to cheer on the finalists competing in the 2012 North America Trend Vision Awards.
The winners – Kelsey Deuel of Charlotte, NC (Young Talent), and Matthew Hom of San Diego, CA (Color Category)– flaunted their incredible talents and will be representing the USA at the International Trend Vision Awards. This year’s celebration will take place in Madrid, Spain on October 28th, 2012.
Young Talent Winner, Kelsey Deuel of Savvy Salon and Day Spa (Cornelious, North Carolina), was glowing as she accepted the gold for her interpretation of the Celeste trend. Kelsey created her winning Celeste at the North American Trend Vision Awards for the way it reflects her work; futuristic yet modern enough for the everyday woman.
Color winner, Matthew Hom of Bellus Academy (Poway, CA), presented a Celeste look thatjudges deemed it worthy of the award. For Matthew, the Wella Trends influenced him to tap deeper into his creative imagination to conceptualize and design images that have no specific rules.
