In Barcelona with Schwarzkopf Professional

Art, culture, tradition, and a cosmopolitan soul. These are the characteristics that made Barcelona the perfect city to host the Schwarzkopf Professional Essential Looks World Tour 2 – 2012.

The focal point of this gathering of more than 2500 participants from 40 nations worldwide will be four trends inspired by latest fashion runways:

Eccentric Heritage, classic tweeds and country styling for a fantasically feminine look;
60′s Twist, for a retro look that has been updated and made more versatile;
Oriental Express, where East meets West in classic motifs, prints, and fabrics;
Couture Neo, the black revival, “dark angels” and “punk goddesses” style.

Two events are planned: The Essential Looks Show, set to take place in the legendary Fira Barcelona on 1 July; the look&learn seminars to be hosted in the suggestive and scenographic Cúpula las Arenas, where Lesley Lawson and Tyler Johnston, Schwarzkopf Professional Global Ambassadors will take the stage with Steve Hogan, the brand’s Creative Director.

This edition will also inaugurate something new: local heroes, local hairdressers called upon to join the Schwarzkopf Professional Global Ambassadors. Among the stylists on stage: Andy Smith (UK), Laurent Decreton (France), Salva G (Spain), Guy de Waen (The Netherlands), Bernd Nicolaisen (Switzerland), Adrian Xhaferi (Germany), Johan Kristensen (Sweden), Mitsuru Itakura (Japan), Kathy Simon (Canada), Javier Romero (Latin America), Dieter Kaiser (Eastern and Central Europe).
