The innovative PrevYou program is intended to establish a new career path that focuses on the continued training and development of Paul Mitchell School educational resources.
For this extraordinary event, all the leading names in PMS – including John Paul and Angus, together with Robert Cromeans, VP of Education Stephanie Kocielski, and Editorial Director Lucie Doughty – will be involved to guide this selected group of salon professionals in two intense days of inspirational training. Activities will also include trying out the latest Paul Mitchell product launches and initiatives.

How does PrevYou differ from other seminars, shows, or events?
PrevYou is an exclusive event built to inspire and Educate our team of Global Educators. This invitation only event will take our Educators through the technical and brand initiatives that will make their way into Paul Mitchell Salons through in-salon and Paul Mitchell only events throughout North America and Europe in late 2012 and early 2013.
Will this be a travelling initiative or always take place in Las Vegas?
This event is a once a year celebration where we gather our top Educators in Las Vegas to network with fellow educators, Artistic Directors and Paul Mitchell leadership. We realize that the grassroots approach of Paul Mitchell Education is the cornerstone of our success, so over time we will also host smaller local Educator only workshops also branded PrevYou as a way to ensure mastery of both message and skill.
How often will these courses be offered?
The workshops offered at PrevYou are in alignment with JPMS global initiatives, so the content featured will be incorporated into all shows, workshops, special events and in-salon classes.
What is the average class size?
The class size for PrevYou 2012 in Las Vegas is approximately 125 educators per rotation.
Are participants trained specifically in how to use new products?
Absolutely! This event offers us the opportunity for our Artistic Leaders to present and train on the latest and greatest product innovations and use for Paul Mitchell®, Awapuhi Wild Ginger®, Mitch® and Paul Mitchell Professional Hair Color.
Do all participants work in all the courses, or are they encouraged to specialize?
Our Education strategy encourages all Educators to master the fundamental of all Artistic Systems: Cut, Color, Style and Texture. Certainly individual members of our global team are specialists in areas that are their passion and the choice to have a specialized focus is theirs to make. We are supportive and encourage development in all areas. At PrevYou 2012 all attendees will experience each of the classes offered.
