52,000 make the smart choice of Premiere Orlando 2012

On June 2, 3 & 4 2012, 52,000 beauty professionals from all fifty states and 15 countries chose  Premiere Orlando 2012 for all their professional educational needs, making this year’s event a multinational success.

Over three days, the event sizzled with more than 400 education sessions, over 280 booths, and 785 exhibitors filling more than a quarter or a million square feet of exhibition space at the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center.

The Main Stage featured a Who’s Who in the Beauty Industry to showcase the latest fashion, trends and style. Intercoiffure brought Global Educator, Patrick Cameron; John Paul Mitchell Systems was represented Robert Cromeans, Stephanie Kocielski, Takashi Kitamura, and Noogie Thai; TIGI’s Heath Grout and the TIGI Soho Academy Team were present; and the Matrix team of Chrystofer Benson, Ammon Carver, Nicholas French, Karrie Fonte, Nick Stenson, Brian and Sandra Smith also shone brightly. Other brand names performing on stage were Farouk Systems with Anna Cantu, the Rusk Design Team, and Nick and Lina Arrojo, Amanda Jenkins, James Edick and Gerard Scarpaci. Celebrity Stylist, Ted Gibson, was also on hand to wow the crowds.

And with color being the buzz word nowadays, Premiere Orlando’s Hair Color Stage featured a star-studded cast of educators, including  Beth Minardi; Redken 5th Avenue NYC’s Patrick Fitzwater, Scruples’s Amie Breckenridge-Goltz and Charlie Price, TIGI Colour’s Richy Kandasamy, and Matrix‘s powerhouse team of Chrystofer Benson, Ammon Carver, Nicholas French, Karrie Fonte, Nick Stenson, Brian and Sandra Smith. With platform artists of this caliber, stylists were sure to go home armed with the latest trendsetting skills for their clients.

This year, Premiere Orlando served up its largest selection of Global Texture & Barbershop education to date, while Nail World provided over 80 nail education sessions with OPI, CND (Creative Nail Design), Precision Nails, Young Nails, Ultronics and many others.

Sunday evening was reserved for the special live judging hair show RAW, presented by Behindthechair.com, showcasing seven teams of emerging talents competing to win the first ever RAW title in front of an SRO crowd, with P&G Salon Professional being crowned the winner.
