Martin Kaufmann has been announced as the new General Manager for Aveda North America.
Kaufmann, heading up the acceleration of Aveda’s growth in North America and supervising the Aveda Retail and Institute Development, North America Salon/Spa Sales and Education, New Business and North America Applied Marketing teams.
“Martin’s leadership and industry expertise will further fuel Aveda’s momentum in the brand’s home market of North America,” says Dominique Conseil, President, Aveda. “He also comes to us with a strong passion for the brand’s mission.”
With more than 17 years of experience in the beauty industry, Kaufmann has made outstanding contributions to such giants as The Gillette company and Procter & Gamble Professional Care North America, where he managed marketing for Clairol Professional, Wella American Classics and Johnson Products before being promoted to head of P&G’s Wella Professional business for Europe, MEA and Latin America.
